Celebrate the Day of the Child

Celebrate the Day of the Child with the Mexican Cultural Center at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science on Sunday, April 26th!  In addition to FREE general admission for all visitors, the celebration will include special performances, music, and activities for the entire family.

Special thanks to the Mexican Cultural Center for their partnership. Learn more about Día del Niño & Other participating organizations HERE.

Día del Niño celebrates all children.

Countries around the world have honored kids with a special day for nearly 100 years. The United Nations established the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1990. This document declares that kids have a right to health, well-being, and happiness, and that they should be protected from physical or emotional harm. More than 190 countries have signed the treaty, defending children’s rights all over the world.

In many parts of the United States, Día del Niño is observed on April 30th to coincide with Mexico’s celebration.
