DENVER – The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is thrilled to announce the opening of its newest exhibition, “Animals of the Rainforest,” beginning Oct. 11, 2024. This immersive, live-animal experience will transport visitors into the world’s most diverse ecosystem, offering a unique opportunity to explore the wonders of rainforest life and learn about the critical importance of rainforest conservation. The exhibition is presented in both English and Spanish.

The “Animals of the Rainforest” exhibition features a captivating blend of live animal displays and dynamic educational content. Guests will have the chance to encounter a variety of fascinating live creatures, including a sloth, a python, an iguana, boa constrictors and tortoises, all within intricately designed habitats that replicate their natural rainforest environments. 

“We are excited to bring the beauty and complexity of the rainforest to Denver,” said Frank Krell, senior curator of entomology at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. “This exhibition offers a unique chance for our community to connect with these incredible animals and learn about the vital importance of rainforests to our planet’s future.”

• Live Animal Encounters: Guests will come face-to-face with incredible rainforest animals and engage with wildlife caregivers who will share insights into the lives and behaviors of these unique species.

• Family-Friendly Activities: Durable animal sculptures throughout the exhibition provide perfect photo opportunities, allowing families to capture memorable moments while learning about the animals and their habitats.

La exhibición “Animales de la Selva Tropical” presenta una fascinante combinación de exhibiciones de animales vivos y contenido educativo dinámico.
