GROUPS OF 200 OR MORE STUDENTS Due to special planning and logistics, you cannot use the Field Trip Request Form online. Call 303.370.6000, daily, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., to request a reservation.
CAMP-INS Call 303.370.6000, daily, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., to request a reservation and learn about special planning and logistics for school/youth group camp-ins.
HOME SCHOOL OR ORGANIZED YOUTH GROUPS Home schools and organized youth groups with a minimum of 10 student/PreK-12 are subject to the same policies and pricing as school groups.
To ensure a quality experience for all our visitors, the Museum
has a daily group capacity. Also, our Facilitated Programs have a
capacity per time slot. Your reservation ensures your group has
access to the Museum.
With a reservation, schools, organized youth groups, and home
school groups bringing a minimum of 10 students receive special
pricing for admission, programming, and
exhibitions. Scholarship funding will be provided only to
those participants who have advance reservations; additional
individuals are subject to full price. Click here to read

Due to the amount of materials, educators must remain in one
room for all of the programs.
This depends on the program, but most programs take 45 to 60
minutes for both set-up and take-down. When selecting a room,
gymnasium, or auditorium for the program, please keep in mind the
set-up and take-down times in addition to the scheduled program

Typically this virtual connection requires IP video-conferencing
equipment. If you do not have video conference hardware, we can
connect most classrooms with a software solution that you can
download to a computer. You will then need to have a webcam and
For Scientists in Action programs, you will receive an e-mail
directing you to a short video that will introduce your students to
the scientist and science featured in their virtual program.
For the virtual classes, we will e-mail you class materials,
including a journal the kids will use during the program.
