Children cannot be accommodated in Teachers Professional Development Programs; no exceptions. Participants who arrive with children will not be admitted to the program.
Explore outdoor and classroom investigations that focus on changes we can observe: patterns of the seasons, multiple ways to observe tree growth and change, and patterns of animal behavior, including our own. Join us for an inquiry approach to science that includes playful exploration, literacy connections, and hands-on center and lesson ideas to use in your classroom tomorrow.For early childhood educators.

All programs require payment at time of registration. All sales are final unless the Museum cancels the event.
Will I receive a certificate of hours?
Yes. If you attend the entire 2.5 hour session, you will receive a certificate prior to leaving.
Do I have to attend each session of Science Tidbits?
No, you may come to the workshops of your choice. However, we do encourage you to attend all of the Tidbits to help build your ECE learning community and increase your science teaching knowledge and skills.
Are any of the activities appropriate for other age groups?
Some activities are appropriate for children age three through third grade.
If I cannot attend this workshop, can I have someone pick up the materials for me?
No. Class materials are reserved for registered teachers in attendance of the workshop.
