An ATM is located just inside the main (north) entrance to the Museum.



Elevators are located in the north and south atria. Additional elevators are located in the Leprino Family Atrium.


First Aid

First aid is located at the Security Desk on Level 1 near the main exit.


Information Desk

The Information Desk is located just inside the main (north) entrance.

  • Get general Museum information
  • Find floor maps
  • Check out strollers for $1 or wheelchairs and canes for free with an ID as a deposit
  • Find Regional Transportation District (RTD) maps
  • Get directions and area tourist information



Lockers are available for 50 cents just inside the main (north) entrance.


Lost and Found

Lost and found is located at the Security Desk on Level 1 near the main exit.



A mailbox is located on the north side of the Museum.



Photography, video or any other reproduction of images for personal use is permitted in the Museum’s permanent collections galleries, but is not permitted in temporary exhibition galleries unless otherwise marked. With the exception of reporters on assignment escorted by staff, cameras must be handheld and no flash photography or tripods are allowed. Rest Rooms

Rest rooms are located throughout the Museum. Changing tables can be found in most rest rooms on all three floors. A family rest room is located inside the entrance to Gems & Minerals on Level 1.



Strollers can be rented from the Information Desk for $1 with a valid form of ID.


Wheelchairs & Canes

Free wheelchairs and canes can be checked out from the Information Desk with a valid form of ID.


Will Call

When you purchase tickets in advance, you may pick up your tickets at the Will Call desk or the Member Service desk, just inside the main (north) entrance to the Museum.
