Spring Break Tips

  • Avoid ticketing lines and purchase tickets in advance at dmns.org for IMAX films, Planetarium shows, or admission for any nonmember guests. Bring the print-at-home tickets with you to the Museum and head straight to the ticket taker.
  • Have your membership card/ecard ready and available for scanning.
  • Parking is at a premium during the holidays. Allow time for parking and consider carpooling or alternative transportation.
  • Weekday late afternoons and weekend early mornings tend to be less busy. The Museum opens at 9 a.m., and it’s often advantageous to be some of the first guests through the door.

Active/Reserve/Retired Military

  • All current, retired, reservist, and national guard personnel of the United States military will receive free Museum admission upon presenting a valid military ID at the time of transaction. In addition, the Museum is proud to offer a 50% discount on Individual through Family Plus memberships to the United States military personnel listed above and their spouses. This offer is available onsite only.

SNAP Recipients

Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients will receive $1 admission per person for up to 10 people when they show their EBT card.

Ticket prices for adult, family, school, and youth groups can be found on our Groups page.

Education Programs

Education programs have a separate fee. Please visit our Schools & Teachers section for more information.
