Birds and Wildlife on the North Platte River

With Museum naturalist Jeff Stephenson, explore by canoe 32 miles of the North Platte River, bordered by spectacular bluffs. The river’s placid areas mingle with easy whitewater sections, offering enough kick to keep you challenged. The area is also home to abundant wildlife. In one mellow afternoon you may see deer, antelope, blue herons, pelicans, and bald eagles. This spot is truly a place to appreciate the wonder of nature.
