Arachnology (Spiders and their kin) Data Entry Assistant

The amazing arachnology collection at the Museum contain spiders from Colorado and the surrounding region, as well as solfugids and other arachnids. Volunteers are needed to provide technical database support with the arachnid collections in the Zoology Department. Assist the curator with timely cataloging of new acquisitions, entering collections data into the computer database, and checking the accuracy of past data entries.

Required Skills
Solid computer skills, exceptional attention to detail, knowledge of biology and/or taxonomy helpful but not necessary.

Training
On the job training will be provided by the curator.

Schedule
Four hour shifts available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 9 a.m -5 p.m. Applicants must be able to volunteer for one four hour shift per week with a minium of 20 shifts within one year.
 
Minimum Age Requirement
Available to individual applicants 18 years of age or older.
