Pink Floyd is in Your Head

Researchers Reproduce ‘Another Brick in the Wall’ Using Brain Waves

Try this: Listen to the song “Another Brick in the Wall, Part 1." Did you know that the song as it's perceived in your mind could potentially be recorded and turned into new music? This past week, neuroscientists from the University of California, Berkeley successfully reconstructed, with the help of AI, a recognizable portion of the iconic psychedelic rock song by monitoring brain recordings from people listening to it.

This is an exciting breakthrough that has not only expanded our understanding of how the brain processes music but also offers hope for those who face communication challenges from neurological disorders.

So, do you want to vibe out your brain waves to Pink Floyd too? There won’t be anybody recording your brain’s electrical activity, but we can make music in your mind at the Pink Floyd Full Dome Show at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science’s Gates Planetarium.
